A theme park where you can be healed by rabbits

Tsuki-Usagi no Sato (Moon Rabbit Village), themed on the legend of the Moon Rabbit of Kaga, is a healing space that makes you feel as if you have wandered into Peter Rabbit’s world.

More than 50 cute rabbits of about 10 different species are free-ranging in the plaza, and their adorable appearance will soothe your heart.

Cuddle time is available for visitors to touch the fluffy rabbits (for a fee).

The museum is also dotted with works by sculptor Satoshi Yasuuchi, allowing visitors to enjoy a space where beautiful art and nature merge.

In addition, a variety of rabbit goods are sold in the general store, and visitors can taste local specialties in the café and dining area.

Visitors can also enjoy hands-on activities such as making fragrance bags with aromatic wood preparations, making manju (Japanese sweet buns), and baking freshly baked pies.

Legend of the Moon Rabbit

There is a story in Kaga called “The Legend of the Moon Rabbit. One day, a kind official saved an injured rabbit.

It is said that when it was raining exceptionally hard, the white rabbit appeared and the moon called for clear skies, resulting in a great harvest.

It is said that the white rabbit appeared and called the moon a “moon rabbit”, which in turn invites luck.
